I firmly believe that life is what you make it and you only go around once. I`ve been described as an eternal optimist meaning that I generally find the best in people even when most of my friends have given up. Serve that up with intelligence, good humor, sensitivity, thoughtfulness, attempts to always act like a lady - geez, I think that`s a Southern thing - and a desire to laugh (even at myself). If you're financially secure,a traveller, self-assured, fun, and not afraid to go after what you want in life both personally and professionally - I bet it would be worth chatting further.
On a more personal note, I enjoy traveling - I've played with the penguins in Antarctica and watched the sun set on the shores of Bali, the Italian coast and several islands in the Caribbean. But, ironically, I have never lost the feeling of contentment when I return home. I'm a fiend for good food, good company and good restaurants and have worked my way through over half of the top 100 on the Washingtonian's Best list. Throw an evening in of good conversation, a movie or even a night on the town. Given that I'm also an avid reader, I equally enjoy curling up with a good novel, maybe Sudoku or the NY Times crossword puzzle (not that I can ever seem to finish one) and a glass of wine on a chilly Sunday afternoon.
