Practising muslim, follows balanced & moderate path of islam, keen & excellent reciter or qur'an, able to engage on a wide spectrum of topics, nature lover & ardent hiker - what better time to reflect & contemplate the existence & omnipresence of THAT ALL POWERFUL REALITY then when engulfed & overwhelmed by the majestic surroundings of HIS creation.I am a fair & loyal individual & not scared to own up if made a mistake. Very passionate about building & architecture. As a rational thinker & problem solver, i do not allow myself to be manipulated, bullied or steam rolled intellectually or otherwise.
If the primary reason for aligning oneself to a site such as this is to, insha allah, find a partner, then it would not be inapropriate to bare some thoughts regarding the position of WOMEN in the realm of the islamic perspective & which seems to be so contentious amongst so many muslims & non-muslims all over the world.
One pertinent aspect pertaining to this & which dawned on me a long time ago is that " ALL WOMEN - WHETHER RICH OR POOR, BLACK OR WHITE, EDUCATED OR NOT, MUSLIM OR NON-MUSLIM - ALL OF THEM ENJOY A PHENOMENAL STATUS AS REGARDS THE ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE.
They are indeed the MOTHERS OF HUMANITY !!
In one of many articulations of the prophet (pbuh) who said that
"Paradise lies at the feet of thy MOTHERS".
What a tremendous honour had the ALMIGHTY bestowed upon these very special individuals ... & what is HIS instructions to us ... the males of this world concerning the well being of our mothers, wives, daughters, sisters etc ....
That we shall respect, revere, look after, threat them with kindness, compassion, mercy & so much more ...
The ALMIGHTY in turn then honours the man by placing the well being of the our women - at whose feet our paradise lies - in his hand & under his auspices ... not to abuse but rather to enhance her position.
This CREATOR showers us with HIS blessing & mercy in this way. Should we then not be grateful slaves in our subservience towards HIM!!
